Conference Theme: High-Quality Development of SRDI Firms in a Deglobalizing Era
Accelerated deglobalization, geopolitical friction and protectionism are flipping global value chains from “efficiency-first” to “security-first”. China’s specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative (SRDI) firms, masters of niche technologies, now anchor chain resilience and high-quality domestic growth. Rather than halting globalization, the new era forces these companies to pursue “resilience-led” expansion via off-, near- and friend-shoring.
To dissect the drivers, paths and innovation mechanisms of this shift, we convene an international conference on “High-Quality Development of SRDI Firms in a Deglobalizing Era”. The forum calls for original English papers that uncover antecedents, processes and outcomes of SRDI excellence and distill actionable, forward-looking solutions.
Domestic and overseas scholars, doctoral students and practitioners are invited to share insights in a dedicated paper workshop and parallel sessions following keynote speeches.
